Welcome to our mountain retreat on Beech Mountain. With almost 2000 sq. feet, our large chalet offers plenty of room to relax and enjoy the family. Enjoy year-round hiking trails located just steps from the house, with walkover bridges, parks and waterfalls. Relax on our large covered deck, watch the deer, and listen to the sounds of nature. It is just a short walk to get to The Beech Mountain Club (pool, tennis and pickleball, fitness center) and Lake Coffey. If you enjoy golfing, we're just a 3-minute drive from the golf course. In the Winter, The Beech Mountain Resort, only a mile and a half from our chalet offers skiing, snowboarding, tubing and ice skating. While in the Summer, activities continue with downhill mountain biking, disc golf, yoga, a mile-high sky bar with live music, a brewery and more. In the Fall, enjoy the leaves changing and local pumpkin patches with mazes and hayrides. Attend events on and around the mountain including Autumn at Oz, Sugar Mountain Octoberfest, Valle Crucis Country Fair and Woolly Worm Festival. Our spacious chalet sleeps 6 comfortably. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on the main level with a privacy door from the rest of the house. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed. The master bedroom is upstairs with a king-size bed and its own private bathroom. Off the master bedroom is the loft with a twin daybed and a desk. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped. All linens are provided for your stay. WI-FI/Internet is provided. The Living Room along with each bedroom have flat screen HDTV's with Roku for streaming live TV and DVD players. The entrance is ground level with only one step up from our large paved driveway which is easily accessible in the Winter. Beech Mountain has amenities for all seasons. We are members of The Beech Mountain Club (pool, tennis, golf, clubhouse dining). Member/Guest privileges are available. (Please contact the club for current Guests user fees) We recommend 4X4 Vehicles or snow chains in the Winter. The chalet does not have a landline; however cell service is available at the house with most cell carriers.
