Our home sits directly on the lake, for year-round fun (we also have a 2nd home across the street, VRBO #3555476 if you need more space, or need a dog-friendly home). Our covered deck can be enjoyed during all weather, with views of the lake. Privacy abounds as we own the wooded lots flanking the home, surrounding you with trees and the glorious sounds of nature.
The lower level game room is partially finished, and heated, with a pool table and dartboard, and for kids there's a large wooden train table and a vintage doll house. We provide outdoor games like cornhole and yahtzee, and lots of indoor board games. There are two firepits for year round enjoyment and stargazing!
Situated directly on the lake, we have a dock, two kayaks, a row boat, a pedal boat, and we have a pontoon boat which may be available for your use for additional fees.
Locke Lake Colony is a private vacation community that offers a 5-hole golf course, bocce court, playgrounds, swimming pools and more. In autumn, enjoy fishing and hiking. In winter, enjoy ice-fishing and skating. Snow mobile trails are nearby and its just a 20-minute drive to Gunstock Mountain for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing.
The master bedroom has a private 1/2 bath, and a queen size bed with a hybrid, brand new mattress. The 2nd bedroom also has a queen size bed and hybrid, brand new mattress.
The 3rd bedroom has bunkbeds and offers a variety of kids toys, activities, and books.
In the hall closet you'll find over 30 games and activities. In our living room, we have a brand new, sectional sofa (no pets are allowed in the home!) And our smart TV has ROKU so you can enjoy Netflix and other channels. We also offer old-school VHS and DVD.
The home is equipped with WiFi and a color printer, should you need to accomplish some tasks for business or school.
