Summary: Terribly disappointed in this experience. The first two photos highlight the amazing rooftop view, which was a main reason we chose this property. Nowhere did it say that it was only accessible for a fee. On arrival, we found out that to access the rooftop/hot tub/bar, you had to pay an additional $30 on top of a pretty pricey hotel rate we had already agreed to. Total trickery. Very shady and disappointing. And if there was a bar (we didn't go), we would have spent money there. The staff was not helpful at all. We have an oversized (by height) van and asked where we could park in town. Unlike the rooftop BS, it was clear on the website that the garage parking was available with a height limit, so we were prepared for that. But when we asked the staff where we could go, we were met with these responses: "I have no idea," "You probably can't park around here anymore," and "Most cars fit in the garage." Entirely not helpful. You know the town better than we do and you are in hospitality. How about having a plan, a map, or just looking it up for us? Shrugging is not a good answer. The staff's demeanor was somehow both lackadaisical and frenetic. Weird energy. The unit was clean but extremely plain. The photo gallery gives you a sense of having style and color. It was boring and white. We did appreciate having a washer/dryer. Room was quiet and we slept well.
