The beach fronting Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that affect its size and accessibility. During fall and winter, sand may temporarily wash away but typically returns in spring and summer. Our HOA, the County of Maui, and the State of Hawaii continue working to restore Kahana Bay. If beach access is limited, a public beach access is located within a 5-minute walk. Photos from 1/16/23 show useable beach, but this is not guaranteed.
🦎🐓PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location, you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii — please don’t harm them. The HOA performs regular pest control, but insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you notice excessive activity; we’ll coordinate with the HOA.
