Villa Bellangelo sits on a hill overlooking the beautiful farmland and vineyards that the Finger Lakes is so well known for. If you're looking for the quiet and peace of the rural areas but also good accessibility to the wineries/wine trail, this is the place for your group. Villa Bellangelo is just a stones throw from Shaw Vineyards and Hermann Wiemer's and just off of the main road that runs along Seneca lake. Many of the wineries on the west side of Seneca Lake can be reached within a 10 minute drive of the house.
Villa Bellangelo is comfortably furnished in a moody Italian style. The home has two levels, each furnished with their own separate living spaces. Both levels have a full Kitchen, Dining area, Living Room, and 3 bedrooms each, making this a fantastic choice for 2 family units to enjoy a vacation together but with separate living areas. The home is also perfect to be used for larger groups (sleeps up to 12) when you may want to mingle on both levels.
The Main floor has an open Kitchen, Dining, Living room space. The Kitchen is fully furnished with dinnerware/cookware and has a large island with several bar stools. The dining room table comfortably seats a group of 12. The Living room has a cozy gas burning fireplace and a large picture window overlooking the vineyards below with a slice of Seneca Lake viewable across the fields.
The Main Floor has 3 bedrooms and a Full bath. Two of the Main Floor bedrooms have Queen size beds and the third bedroom has a Full size bed.
The lower level can be reached via a flight of stairs just off of the Main floor kitchen but it also has it's own outside entry from the driveway. The lower level has an open living space as well with a second living room, full kitchen, and eat-in kitchen table. There are 3 bedrooms on this floor as well. One Bedroom has a Queen bed with a full bath en suite. The second lower level bedroom is small with a Queen size Murphy bed and the third bedroom is also an additional sitting room with a sofa/sofa bed. The lower level has an additional full bath as well.
There is a large front yard with a small patio and firepit that look out over the surrounding farmland. You may even glimpse some of our favorite wildlife from the yard: white tail deer, turkeys, foxes, and the many singing birds. Villa Bellangelo is the perfect choice if you're looking for a country home to stay in but with good accessiblity to the Finger Lakes wineries and towns.
