Outdoor living is made special by a in-ground hot tub, covered patio, dining and lounging furniture, BBQ, and stone-hewn water fountain.
At the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, a circular driveway takes you to the portico and entry. A delightful water fountain and boulder installation greets you as you enter. There are views of trees and wide open spaces in nearly every room. The living room has an open, pitched ceiling and glass wall to the outside, A beautiful redwood bookcase and rock wall/fireplace hug the room. Beyond the rock wall is the dining room that seats 10, with a wine rack, cupboard for glasses, and full view of the outdoors. The great room is a comfy place to watch TV, play games, and entertain guests. Again, a rock wall and fireplace form one wall, with flat boulders providing extra seating. Along the other wall is a redwood bookcase, and there is a full view of the outdoors. A redwood bar and island defines the kitchen updated with Bosch appliances and fully stocked with All-Clad cookware, coffee brewer, Keurig and expresso maker, and everything you need to prepare and serve meals. There is a separate laundry room with Bosch washer/dryer, sink, pantry, and rod for hanging clothes.
The master bedroom has a king bed, walk-in closet and adjoining bath, including an oversized tub looking out upon the atrium. The second bedroom has a queen bed/futon, workspace, closet and TV that descends into a large wooden console. The third bedroom has a full-sized sofa bed, workspace, bookshelf and closet. There is a flagstone path through a small redwood forest that takes you to a grassy knoll with seating to catch a cool breeze and sunset in the evening. Stairs lead you down to a large open area below where the dog loves to run. A gate at the back of the property leads to miles of private trails, a pond, and San Diego's Coast to Crest Trail.
