This home also has central air conditioning,second floor laundry a fabulous porch overlooking Long Island sound with a dining table and patio . Only 90 minutes by train to Manhattan 10minutes from Yale.

Summary: This house is exceptionally well equipped, except for us Brits who like a kettle! There is generous beach equipment for your use, private parking, lots of outside space and comfortable seating, lovely veranda for evening meals and the house and area are so dog friendly. The sea and little beaches are yards from the house with lots of wild life, safe for children who love the rocky pools and crabs etc. and beautiful sunsets. You can see Long Island on clear days. There is space for a family of 8 to lose themselves and do their own thing. Very well equipped kitchen with generous goodies supplied also spices and condiments, teas, coffees and kitchen necessities are all there. Big comfortable dining room, lovely spacious sitting room where everyone can sit in comfort. Excellent A/C & fans throughout. Three very good bedrooms with the most wonderful comfortable and super king sized beds, plus office with new large and comfortable sofa bed. All bedding is of the highest standard. We make an observation that for this size of house and the number of guests that it accommodates there lacks a second bathroom -currently there is one well equipped bathroom upstairs and a cloakroom downstairs. We did not understand the listing referring to two bathrooms, occasionally mentioning one and a half bathrooms..... The house is immaculately kept and cleaned with an abundance of all necessities, towels and toiletries most generously supplied. We all loved it and would go back in a heartbeat, importantly from the moment you walk in the door, the house works for you, everything is self explanatory and obvious and very well thought out for the ease of the visitor on arrival. We were all ages and a Labrador, and there was something for everyone, a true home.
